Sporting Cars - September 1985
These adverts on are the pages following an article in the magazine comparing Russ Swift's Nova Sport versus a Mini Cooper and comparing the modern (for its day) equivalent compared to it's classic counterpart.
Motor - October 1985
We've found this advert in several publication from October/November 1985 but this specific advert is from Motor magazine October 1985. The advert shows the car as having 5.5x13 steel wheels but in actual fact they came new with 5x13 steel wheels. Although some of the restoration cars are now running 5.5x13 rims as the 5" wheels are so hard to come by. Correct style 5.5x13 wheels can be obtained with relative ease from Germany, most being bought from German eBay.
Motoring News 1985
A newspaper broadsheet from the Motoring News, 31st October and November 7th 1985.
Autocar 23/10/1985
Very similar to the Motoring News advert but in landscape form. It would seem Vauxhall pushed the advertising for the Sport around late October/Early November 1985.
